Porsche is planning to introduce a coupe version of the popular Cayenne SUV as the model in question is believed to make its way onto the market quite soon.
A Porsche Cayenne Coupe is definitely something we haven’t considered but it seems that sources within the company are saying that this is a possibility. According to the guys at Auto Express, the German based automaker is planning to introduce a Coupe version of the Cayenne. Porsche has been apparently influenced by the success of BMW’s X6 and with Mercedes-Benz planning a four-door coupe SUV of its own, which will be named either the MLC or the ML Coupe, the company couldn’t have missed out on such a model.
The new Porsche Cayenne Coupe will have a sloping roofline which will give it a sportier appearance. Some changes will be made to the model’s front fascia too. Changes will not stop here because the car manufacturer also wants to tweak its suspension and steering in order to provide it with a sportier driving experience, similar to the one of the Macan. A lower center of gravity, wider front and rear tracks and a lower ride height will also be applied onto the model. Different engines will be available for it, including the V8s from the Turbo and from the Turbo S.
