RUF, the well-known German tuning firm specialized in Porsche vehicles, revealed today the RUF Roadster, a modern interpretation of the legendary 1967 Porsche 911 Targa.
The Ruf Roadster features a special roof with a removable center piece, a removable plastic rear window and two carbon fiber roof pieces that can also be taken out. Different ways to enjoy the driving pleasure are available such as completely enclosed, completely open, or with a closed roof and open rear window, or open roof and closed rear window.
RUF Roadster Coupe is powered by a 3.8-liter six-cylinder Boxer unit that delivers 400 hp at 6,600 rpm. This allows RUF Roadster to deal with the 0 to 62 mph sprint in 4.6 seconds and offer a top speed of 183 mph (295 km/h), while returning a combined fuel efficiency of 22 mpg (10.7 liters per 100 km).
