Porsche has released a new teaser video and teaser image with the Macan crossover, which will be officially presented to the public during the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show, next month.
Despite the fact that everyone who is closely monitoring the automotive media has seen the new Porsche Macan with absolutely no camouflage on its body and found out that the model is basically a smaller brother of the Cayenne, which will maintain its premium touches, the company just had to tease the Macan, for marketing purposes. The model in question will be officially presented to the public at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show, on the 22nd of November.
The engine options for the new Porsche Macan remain unconfirmed for the moment but chances are that the crossover will receive a 3.0 liter V6 and a 3.6 liter twin turbo V6, which will generate 395 HP (294 kW) and 550 Nm of torque (406 lb-ft). An entry-level engine is expected to be offered for the model too. The manual and the PDK transmissions, depending on the version chosen, will send power to the all-wheel drive system with a Torsen limited-slip differential. The new Porsche Macan will hit the production line in December and a mid-range variant will set you back for just over 50,000 USD.
