In order to celebrate its 10th anniversary in China, Porsche has unveiled a special edition of 911.
This edition is based on the Turbo S and is a unique model that highlights a gold exterior with a more attractive carbon fiber hood. As it is a matter of grand celebration, Porsche has come up with a plan of creating something more aggressive and beautiful that could satisfy its enthusiast’s. Porsche has added a carbon fiber rear spoiler and also a set of 19-inch Sport Classic wheels that offer fascinating look to the exterior of the car.
This special 911 Turbo S will be limited to just 10 units and will be produced for the Chinese market. Though, pricing is still undercover, but one can guess that this unique model will cost more than what the standard models are. The best modification what the car has received is its gold exterior shade which is complemented by a carbon fiber hood. The changes give a luxurious and of course a graceful touch to the car.
However, the change is not just on the exterior of the car. Porsche has also played with the interior which is equipped with Alcantara sport seats, carbon fiber trim, and exclusive sill plates. Also, Sport Design steering wheel, special badging, and unique floor mats are the added features that offer a unique touch to the car.
As far as the performance is concerned, Porsche has kept the similar feature that included in its standard models. A turbocharged 3.8 liter 6-cylinder engine sits under the hood of this car as fitted in the standard version. This engine produces 530 PS (390 kW / 523 hp) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. Linked to a 7-speed PDK transmission, the car can then make 0-100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds, making a top speed of 315 km/h, in other words 196 mph.
