Our spy photographers have managed to capture a prototype version of the Toyota GT86 which is believed to be faster than the outgoing model.
The images posted below are revealing a prototype version of the popular Toyota GT86 which has been caught on camera on the Nurburgring. Rumors are saying that this might be a lightweight version of the sports car which should make it significantly faster than the one already available and it seems that the black body parts are made out of carbon fiber. We are not sure if this is true as Toyota might be testing out some minor things.
However, this can be a refreshed version of the GT86 which should come sometimes next year or even in 2016 with a larger boxer engine along with improved intake and exhaust systems for a more intense acceleration. Considering the fact that Toyota will rather co-develop vehicles with BMW than Subaru, chances are that the engine will not be signed by the creators of the BRZ and it might be produced in collaboration with Gazoo Racing. Either so, whatever this model turns out to be, chances are it will appeal to petrol heads on a budget from around the world.
