PP-Performance tunes the Mercedes-AMG C63 S and AMG GT S image

There is now another power package available for the C63 S and AMG GT S made by Mercedes-AMG which has been signed by PP-Performance.

Tuning a vehicle can transform it into a kitschy ride so anything besides new rims and a power upgrade is not really recommendable. PP-Performance has played it safe and has released a new power package available for the Mercedes-AMG C63 S and for the AMG GT S. According to the tuner, the 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 engine found under the hood of both cars has now been chip tuned and this has provided more power.

In the C63 S, this will cost you 2,899 euros and it will be raising the total output from 510 HP (375 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque to 610 HP (449 kW) and 769 Nm (568 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) now takes 3.59s instead of the previous 4s and top speed has been raised from 250 km/h (155 mph) to 307 km/h (190 mph). The same treatment has been applied to the AMG GT S as well as this is also more powerful now, thanks to the tuner. In standard form, the sports car has 510 HP (375 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque and it is now coming with 610 HP (449 kW) and 765 Nm (565 lb-ft) of torque. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) this now needs 3.4 seconds and it can go up to 324 km/h (201 mph). The power kit costs the same as the one in the C63 S.
