A pre-production version of the Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Coupe has been recently spotted in the metal, on the streets of Stuttgart, Germany, ahead of is public debut which will take place this month, in New York.
Mercedes-Benz has been recently spotted testing the new S63 AMG Coupe, in its pre-production version, without any camouflage on its body and with an appealing white finish on its body in Stuttgart, Germany. This is the first time when the model in question is being seen on the streets without wearing any camouflage on its body and this is a strange move considering the fact that it will be officially presented to the public during the 2014 New York Auto Show, later on this month.
The new Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Coupe has a 5.5 liter V8 twin turbo engine under the long hood, which can produce a total output of 577 HP (430 kW) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque, which can be sent to the RWD or to the 4MATIC AWD system. In rear-wheel drive version, the 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes 4.3 seconds and with four-wheel drive, the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. Top speed has been electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph).
