BBC has released the first details on the new Top Gear Season 22 Episode 1, which will air on the 25th of January, as it has been recently announced.
In case you have been missing out on the famous trio of car testers, Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond, you should know that they will be back on TV soon. According to BBC, the new Top Gear Season 22 Episode 1 is getting ready to air as the official date has been disclosed – January 25. Despite the first episode being announced officially, we are not sure what we will see in it because no details on this have been announced so far.
In the new Season 22 of Top Gear, we will get to see a small race between Richard, on a bike, and James behind the wheel of a Renault Twizy, three brand new GT cars tested in Australia, the testing of the impressive BMW i8 and also a tribute for the legendary Land Rover Defender. Other vehicles which will star in the Season 22 include the Mercedes-AMG GT, the Lamborghini Huracan, Corvette Stingray, Jaguar F-Type R, Porsche Cayman GTS, Lexus RC F and so on.
However, we have gotten the new Patagonia Christmas Special so far and it has been a truly controversial one because the Top Gear crew has had some tough times in Argentina because of Jezza’s Porsche 928, with the H982 FKL license plate, which was referring to the 1982 Falklands Islands war, between Great Britain and Argentina. The crew had to flee the South American country after several mobs attacked them with stones. The three V8 powered cars were abandoned over there. A short explanation on the incident was offered in the Patagonia Special episodes, but controversy still remains.
