Vauxhall has issued the official price for the 2015 Corsa VXR in the United Kingdom, where the model will go on sale from next month.
The 2015 Vauxhall Corsa has a base starting price of 17, 995 GBP, on the road. The model is coming with an aggressive front fascia, with aluminum accents, larger air intakes, extended side skirts, a tailgate mounted spoiler, a Remus dual exhaust system, an integrated diffuser into the rear bumper, bi-xenon headlights and others. The sub-compact hot hatch is also getting the VXR Carbon Pack, for 150 GBP, adding the revised front grille and the carbon fiber mirror caps.
The same sporty design is also being continued in the cabin too, where the alloy pedals can be found, along with the flat bottom steering wheel and the Recaro seats. There is also a VXR branded shifter inside the cabin and a revised instrumentation, along with the cruise control, the air conditioning, the revised instrumentation, the special door sill plates, the heated front windscreen and the IntelliLink infotainment system, amongst others.
For another 2,400 GBP, customers can also order the VXR Performance Pack, which is bringing the retuned Koni FSD system, the limited slip differential and the brakes signed by Brembo. The most important part of the car is found under its hood where the 1.6 liter four-cylinder engine is resting, producing a total of 205 HP (150 kW) and 280 Nm (206 lb-ft) of torque, with overboost. The unit is connected to a 6-speed manual gearbox, allowing the car to reach 60 mph (96 km/h) in 6.5s and a top speed of 143 mph (230 km/h).
