Prior Design McLaren 570S is looking ready for the track image

Aftermarket specialist Prior Design has made the menacing-looking Aero PD1 body kit available for the McLaren 570S, with owners of the model that acquire it looking ready to hit the track at a moment’s notice.

The exterior modifications seem to be inspired by the McLaren 570S Sprint track version, with both versions having larger front splitters with orange accents at the tip. Prior Designs’ styling adds an intricate cutout at each end as well, and the modified fenders also get new vents. The most obvious addition is the apparition of a roof-mounted air scoop. The package is rounded off by the larger side sills, the fixed attack wing at the back and the new fenders as well as the updated diffuser. The looks are a bit exaggerated due to the deployment of a set of massive wheels, but the upgraded exhaust should make the car sound even sweeter.

The Prior Design modifications are just on the cosmetic level, meaning the 570S still uses the standard-speck biturbo 3.8-liter V8 with 562 horsepower (419 kW) and 443 pound-feet (601 Newton-meters) of torque, enough for the sports car to thunder to 60 miles per hour (97 kilometers per hour) in 3.1 seconds and on to a maximum speed of 204 mph.
