The first image showing the final production version of the 2014 Acura MDX has surfaced on the internet, right ahead the model’s official debut in New York.
The 2014 Acura MDX, in its final production version, is looking very similar to the concept unveiled in Detroit back in January, with the same lines, angular LED headlights, sloping roofline, prominent front grille and some other tweaks. The model is also getting safety features such as the Blind Spot Information, Multi-Angle Rearview Camera, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Warning and AcuraLink Connectivity System, amongst others.
Power to the 2014 Acura MDX is being provided by a 3.5 liter i-VTEC engine, with variable cylinder management, whose official numbers aren’t known for the moment, but they might stand at 310 BHP (231 kW) and 368 Nm of torque (272 lb-ft). The model will come with FWD as standard and with AWD as an option. Additional details on the final production version of the 2014 Acura MDX are limited for the moment and will be announced later on today, during the 2013 New York Auto Show, once the model will be officially unveiled.
