The full production version of the Acura RLX has recently leaked in patent images, revealing the next generation of the flagship sedan.
After it was officially presented to the public earlier this year during the 2012 New York Auto Show in a concept form, the Acura RLX is once again being placed into the spotlights, this time in its full production version. The guys at blog.caranddriver.com have managed to get their hands on the images posted below which are giving us a peak at what the next sedan will look like. Rumors are saying that the production version of the Acura RLX will get a 3.5 liter J-Series V6 engine, mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, which will power the front-wheel drive in standard or the AWD as an option.
As a quick reminder, the Acura RLX concept has LED headlights, an angular grille, 20-inch alloy wheels, navigation system, infotainment system, dual LCD screens with 8-inch and 7-inch touch screen, USB, Bluetooth, premium audio system and the AcuraLink communications system. Power to the Acura RLX concept was provided by a 3.5 ltier V6 engine and three electric motors, mated to the seven-sped dual-clutch transmission. The total output was 370 HP and the model had a combined fuel economy of 30 mpg.
