A production version of the Fiat Aegea has been caught on camera recently in Turkey.
There is no surprise anymore that the Fiat Aegea is going to roll off the assembly line at the Bursa facility, in Turkey, and that this will be arriving at dealerships in November, but what comes as novelty is the fact that such a model has been spotted out in the open recently. The vehicle is wearing a white shade covering its body and it is quietly sitting around in a parking lot.
Rumor has it that the final dimensions of the new Fiat Aegea might actually be identical to the ones of the concept car, which stands at 4,500 mm long, 1,780 mm wide and 1,480 mm tall, riding on a wheelbase of 2,640 mm and getting a total boot space of 510 liters. Its exterior design is appealing and it may remind you of the Citroen C-Elysee, in the front fascia and side profile, but that’s another story.
The official contender for the new Fiat Aegea will be, besides the model mentioned above, the Dacia Logan. The vehicle will be making use of two petrol burners and two diesel engines, with power ranging between 95 HP (70 kW) and 120 HP (88 kW), connected to a 6-speed manual or to an automatic gearbox. The interior will add a 5-inch color touch screen display, steering wheel mounted controls, TFT display on the instrument cluster and automatic climate control amongst others. These features might make it significantly more expensive than the Logan.
