Production Lamborghini Urus gets rendered image

Another rendering with the upcoming Lamborghini Urus SUV is showing us how the luxury cruiser may look like.

There is no surprise that the Lamborghini LM002 will be getting a spiritual successor since this has been confirmed several times over these past two years but it seems that in between developing new supercars, shop the Sant’Agata Bolognese based carmaker has forgotten all about it. The good news is that rendering artists are still remembering the model and they are showing us how this may end up looking.

The image posted above is nothing more than a simple rendering, which has been put together by OmniAuto, and it is showing us a toned down example which has been based on the concept. We can notice the familiar front fascia, the appealing side profile with the sloping roofline, the five double-spoke wheels covering the red brake calipers and that appealing shade covering its body. Differences with the concept might not be that significant but remember that a company insider said that this will not be dramatically changed.

The Lamborghini Urus is still a few years away from hitting the assembly line but once it will, than expect it to ride on the same platform as the second-gen Audi Q7, a treatment which has been applied to the Bentley Bentayga as well. Under its hood we might find a hybrid V8 variant or a turbocharged engine, but it remains to be seen whether we will see our very first diesel-powered Lamborghini as well. Additional details on the SUV are limited for the moment.
