The production version of the Lexus NX crossover has been partially revealed in a French magazine, ahead of its public debut which will take place this month, during the 2014 Beijing Motor Show.
Toyota’s luxury brand Lexus has released a teaser image with the new NX just a few days ago and now the model is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a new photo, which is partially revealing the crossover. The new Lexus NX has leaked out in a French magazine and it’s showing its rear end and side, with its attractive styling.
Unlike the concept version, the production model has conventional mirrors which have replaced the cameras and regular pipes instead of the triangular chromed exhaust system. The taillights have a less radical design but the futuristic shape is still retained. The image posted above is showing the NX 300h which means that this has a hybrid powertrain, with a 2.5 liter four-cylinder engine and an electric motor, but chances are that the internal combustion unit can come in the shape of the 2.0 liter turbocharged gasoline four-cylinder. The new Lexus NX crossover will be officially presented to the public in Beijing, on the 20th of April.
