The first spy photos of the production version MG CS SUV have recently hit the web and they are showing the model in question while it was being tested in Scandinavia.
The cold weather environment in Northern Europe seems to be favored by most carmakers and one of these companies is MG, which has recently tested its new CS SUV in Scandinavia. The model in question is the production version of the vehicle with the same name, which has been shown as a concept during the Shanghai Auto Show, back in April 2013, and it was based on the MG5.
New reports conclude that the MG CS SUV has some SsangYong origins and it’s based on the SsangYong Korando multi-platform, riding on a 2,650 mm long wheelbase, which is exactly the same as the Korando. The engine lineup will be made out of two units, the 1.5 liter turbo, with its 135 HP, which will also be found on the MG5 turbo, along with the 2.0 liter turbo, producing 204 HP. The production version of the MG CS SUV will be officially presented to the public during the 2014 Beijing Auto Show, in April. More details on the model will probably be announced during its presentation.
