Proton has recently introduced the Preve GXR in Australia, where the model is available from 22,990 AUD.
A sportier version of the small Proton sedan, the so-called Proton Preve GXR, is currently available for order in Australia, where its future customers will have to pay at least 22,990 AUD driveaway, before being able to take their new rides home. According to the local automotive media, the cost of the small sedan also includes the 1,000 AUD cash back bonus.
The Proton Preve GXR has achieved a 5-star safety rating with ANCAP, and it’s coming with features such as the 6 airbags, which are front, side and curtains, with brake assist and electronic stability control. Other features available for the model include the climate control, sat-nav, Bluetooth and AUX connectivity, cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, push-button start and more.
As far as the engine goes, the model in question is taking its power from a 1.6 liter petrol unit, the same one from the Proton Exora, which is producing a total output of 103 kW at 5,000 rpm and it has a peak torque of 205 Nm, available between 2,000 and 4,000 rpm. The average fuel consumption of the vehicle stands at 8.6 liters every 100 km.
