Proton Saga launched in Malaysia image

The Malaysian based automaker headquartered in Subang Jaya and Shah Alam, Selangor, Proton, has recently announced that the new Saga FLX SE model has been officially introduced in Malaysia.

While everyone in the automotive media and not only is focusing on the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show, the Malaysian based automaker Proton has decided to release the Saga FLX SE model on the local auto market, a move which might go away unseen. According to the Malaysian manufacturer, the Saga FLX SE has been priced at RM 49.899 in metallic and RM 49.449 in solid, coming with the 1.6 liter Campro engine and the CVT transmission. Proton says that only two shades are available for the Saga, the Fire red and Solid White.

According to the Malaysian based automaker, the new Proton Saga is powered by a 1.6 liter engine which is developing a total output of 108 horsepower and has a peak torque of 150 Nm, mated, as we said before, to a CVT transmission. The Saga FLX SE is RM 2.900 more than the FL and comes with a complete factory mounted body kit in contrast grey, fog lamps, smoked finished combination rear lamps and 15 inch alloy wheels, while the interior comes with leather on the seats, steering wheel, door panels, parking break and gear lever.
