Our spy photographers have managed to catch the new Proton B-segment car on camera for the first time, while it was being tested in Northern Sweden.
Proton’s newest model up to date, the small B-segment car, which currently has no known name, except for the GSC, which stands for Global Small Car, is being placed into the spotlights these days, thanks to some spy images which are showing the model being tested in cold weather conditions, in Northern Sweden. The vehicle was seen undergoing some cold climate testing close to the Arctic Circle and it’s believed to make its way onto the Old Continent too, once it will be introduced.
Rumors are saying that the new Proton GSC will become a replacement for the Savvy and the new B-segment car, made by Malaysians, is said to make its way onto the market this year. Chances are that we will see it in the first half of 2014, without any camouflage on its body, and if the carmaker won’t choose events like the Geneva Motor Show, in March, to pull the wraps off the model, than it will probably be shown during a Chinese or even an American automotive event, this year. No more details are being known so far on the new GSC.
