The new Chinese based automaker Qoros has recently pulled the wraps off the GQ3 Sedan ahead of the model’s public debut scheduled for the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
The very first model in a series to be signed by Qoros, a Chinese automaker which will “try” the automotive market under the close watch of Chery, is named the GQ3 Sedan and the vehicle is expected to become a hit in most markets in Asia and an important competitor on the Old Continent. The Qoros GQ3 Sedan has been recently unveiled and the very first images and details with the model have hit the web for the first time.
Qoros is promising the latest technologies, a five-star rating in the Euro NCAP and an attractive exterior design on the new GQ3 Sedan, and these might just be possible considering the fact that the model is drawn by Kurt Volker Hildebrand, the same guy who “reinvented” the first MINI generation after BMW took over the brand. Hildebrand has also worked for Mitsubishi, Volkswagen, Seat, Audi or Opel and he’s now collaborating with Qoros. The GQ3 Sedan will be produced in a new factory, which will be opened next year in Changshu. Some of the big names in the industry to provide parts of the GQ3 are the Icconmobile, TRW, Microsoft, Continental, Bosch or Magna Steyr. The first GQ3 Sedans will arrive in Europe in the second half of 2013.
