Ram creates new appearance packs for its trucks image

The tough vehicle manufacturer is looking to ride its current wave of success by enticing customers to even newer versions of its trucks, thanks to the addition of new appearance packages.

First to kick of the summer festivities is the new Big Horn Black package, which – as the name implies – has all shades available as long as it’s black, with new black trimming for the grille, headlight bezels, wheels, and black badging – the automaker is also throwing the same package for new owners of the Texas-exclusive Lone Star edition. “There’s a lot to look forward to for our dealers and customers for the 2018 model year from Ram,” said Jim Morrison, head of the Ram truck brand. “We had a lot of customers asking for the RAM grille; our sport models continue to be even more popular than ever, especially in cities.”

The buyers looking for more color choices will be able to select the Ram Sport package, which comes with novelties for the 2018 model year with a new body-colored grille with Ram lettering. Sport models are also adopters of the monochromatic treatment, though wheels and badges can be had in black or polished aluminum wheels matched by chrome badges. Ram will offer Sport models with more shades, including the exclusive Blue Streak, Flame Red, Maximum Steel Metallic, and True Blue – with production limited to 1500 examples each.
