The tough truck manufacturer is making sure the drievrs are feeling comfortable and pampered after working hard to put the stuff they haul in the bed of the 1500, 2500, and 3500 models, now available with the Limited Tungsten Edition flagship version.
The trucks will reach dealerships in the third quarter of the year, pricing kicking off at $55,120 for the trim on the 1500. The Tungsten Edition is using the Limited trim as its base, but adds even more perks. Design details on the exterior include a dark chrome grille with RAM lettering, matching metallic accents for the trim and badges, body colored elements (bumpers, mirror caps, door handles, and running boards), headlights with black surrounds from the Sport model as well as satin-finished Limited wheels. Buyers can opt for Bright Silver Metallic, Bright White, Brilliant Black Crystal, Delmonico Red Pearl, Granite Crystal Metallic, Pearl White, and True Blue Pearl – with Maximum Steel Metallic being exclusive to the 1500, as far as colors go.
Moving inside the cabin, which is where the luxury happens, we’re greeted by Natura Plus Frost and Indigo leather even on the heated steering wheel and instrument panel. The front seats come with heating and ventilation, power adjustable pedals with memory and there’s also a heated rear bench. The Light Greystone suede headliner, Indigo carpet, and rubber floormats, as well as genuine wood trim, including on the door panels complete the upscale ambiance. The 8.4-inch infotainment system comes with navi, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The 1500 also gets air suspension, while the Heavy Duty versions get the RamBox storage system.
