The US truck maker is looking to become an official presence across international markets, unhealthy making its official public debut in Europe during the IAA Commercial Vehicles Exhibition in Hannover, online Germany.
American pickup trucks – large and gas thirsty – haven’t been an official presence in Europe, although there are plenty of fans available. That’s about to change in the near future as Ram looks ready to approach international markets. The company presented at the German event an 1500 Quad Cab Sport laden with a host of Mopar accessories that might very well get launched as well for the non-US customers. Among them we counted side steps, a heavy duty tool box, tow hitch, 3.92 rear axle ratio, load bed liner, vented hood, and leather interior, all ready for sale in Europe.
Aside from those, the truck’s 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine can now also run on liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) – which is hugely popular in certain parts of Europe because it’s way cheaper than both gas and diesel. Most likely the most popular choice across the Old Continent will be the 3.0-liter, V6 EcoDiesel, which is shared in the group with the Jeep Grand Cherokee. “We are very excited to introduce the Ram Truck brand to a global commercial vehicle audience at Hannover.
