Ram Rebel Black edition prepares for NAIAS image

The new Ram 1500 Rebel Black special series will be presented at the 2017 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan and comes with a few stylish upgrades.

The off-road oriented pickup will receive an extra level of style thanks to the addition of always fashionable black accessories – on the wheels and brush guard, while the model itself is available with the full color palette from the standard model. More importantly, more substantial upgrades can be found inside the truck, with the cabin featuring black heated seats with Rebel embroidery or optional Katskin black leather seats. Light Slate Gray stitching will be there to complement the black shade on the chairs, instrument panels, center console lid, and door panels. Black anodized trim is also present – on the doors, console, instrument panel, and gauge cluster rings.

The off-road credentials are substantiated with deep rubber floor mats for protecting the nicer interior from snow and mud. Aside from the visual perks, the Rebel Black comes with all the bells and whistles – such as 33-inch tires, Bilstein shocks, and skid plates. Motivation is provided via a 5.7-liter V8 packing 395 horsepower (294 kilowatts) and 410 pound-feet (555 Newton-meters) of torque or a 3.6-liter V6 with 305 bhp (227 kW) and 269 lb-ft (364 Nm) of torque. The prices kick off at $46,910, after $1,320 for destination and first orders will be completed at dealers in March.
