Despite being ruled out, the Range Rover Evoque Cabrio is still a possibility as a prototype of the model has been recently spotted on the road.
The Range Rover Evoque Cabrio has been shown a couple of years ago as a concept car and despite initial rumors saying that it will be hitting the production line, several statements from the company’s officials have ruled out the model. That is until now, because the guys from Autocar have posted some images with a prototype version of the model, which is suggesting that Land Rover will soon put it into production.
The vehicle in question has a black fabric roof, just like the concept car, and a camouflaged body, but imagining how it may look is not that hard, considering the fact that it has been previewed by a concept. The Range Rover Evoque Cabrio will have no direct rival, at this time, and it will be coming with a retractable fabric roof, with roll-over protection, with the terrain response and several other tweaks. Rumor has it that it will be introduced sometimes next year so don’t act too surprised if you will see it in Geneva, in March, or six months later, in Frankfurt.
