The British based automaker Land Rover just received another award for its new Range Rover Evoque, the newest vehicle in the manufacturer’s lineup being named 2011 Scottish Car of the Year, after the SUV had to win everything, starting with its segment, where the BMW X3 was a worthy opponent, and ending with the other 11 category winners.
“We are absolutely delighted that the Range Rover Evoque is the 2011 Scottish Car of the Year – undoubtedly one of the most important accolades in the industry. On behalf of everyone at Land Rover, I would like to thank the Association for the award and for recognizing that the Evoque is the most exciting car to be driven on Scottish roads this year”, said the Land Rover UK managing director, Colin Green.
Even if the production of the new Range Rover Evoque started just earlier this year, the vehicle is one of the most appreciated in its class. The Range Rover Evoque also received the 2011 Auto Express Car of the Year award, along with the Best Production Car by Car Design News.
