Range Rover Evoque named Women’s World Car of the Year image

The Range Rover Evoque has been recently named the 2012 Women’s World Car of the Year (WWCOTY) for luxury vehicles.

The Women’s World Car of the Year award was also handed over to the new BMW 3-Series for Family Vehicles, to the Porsche 911 for Sports Cars and to the new generation of the Honda Civic for Economy Car, while the supreme winner of this year’s “contest” was the Range Rover Evoque, being followed by the BMW 3-Series on the second place and with the podium ending with the new Audi Q3.

The jury for this edition of the Women’s World Car of the Year had included 17 top female journalists from the automotive field like Vicki Butler-Henderson from Fifth Gear, England, Lou Hammond, the founder of carlist.com, US, Henny Hemmes, with 30 years as a race driver from Holland, Sue Baker, with 30 years as an automotive journalist from England and Susan Sun, the editor-in-chief from Auto Club, the most read automotive publication in China. The Women’s World Car of the Year award is now in its fourth year.
