Range Rover Hybrid Long Wheelbase unveiled in Beijing image

Land Rover has officially introduced the Range Rover Hybrid Long Wheelbase at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show, in a world premiere.

After officially introducing the standard wheelbase of the Range Rover Hybrid, the British based automaker Land Rover has just made another step into creating a new version of the model, a long wheelbase, which is appreciated in China. The vehicle is offering 186 mm more rear legroom and the overall length of the model is now standing at 5.2 meters. The company says that customers can go for the executive seating package which is benefitting from rear seats that can recline for up to seventeen degrees.

The first diesel hybrid to be offered on the Chinese auto market will be taking its power from a 3.0 liter SDV6, backed up by an electric motor and mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, signed by ZF. The total output produced stands at 340 HP (250 kW) at 4,000 rpm and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque, available between 1,500 and 3,000 rpm. The average fuel consumption stands at 6.4 liters / 100 km (44.1 mpg UK / 36.7 mpg US) and the CO2 emissions stop at 169 g/km. No pricing details have been announced.
