An even more luxurious Range Rover is going to be developed in order to rival the recently unveiled Bentley Bentayga.
Bentley has managed to create a huge fuzz in the automotive industry with its recently unveiled Bentayga, which is currently the most luxurious and powerful SUV available. However, competition isn’t standing away from this topic and after we have learned, in a recent report, that Mercedes-Benz is planning its own rival for the Bentayga, the fact that the BMW X7 might be aimed towards this SUV as well and the development of the Rolls-Royce Cullinan, time has come to talk about yet another major player in the premium SUV category: Range Rover.
The British based brand is going to rival the Bentley Bentayga and a competitor for this model is already in the works. According to John Edwards, the Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations managing director, an even more expensive version of the Range Rover is going to be offered soon. Currently, the range-topping variant is the LWB SV Autobiography which has a price of “just” over 160,000 GBP, on its local market, when being fully configured. The company’s boss has revealed the target, which is a price higher than the one mentioned above. Rumor has it that the new Range Rover luxury cruiser might reach 200,000 GBP when it will be offered in full configuration. Since the development on the SUV has begun already, we are expecting it sometimes next year.
