Range Rover Sport HST planned for New York debut image

The new Range Rover Sport HST will be officially presented to the public in early April, during the 2015 New York Auto Show, as the brand has recently announced.

The second generation of the Range Rover Sport is getting ready to expand as the model will get an HST version, during the 2015 New York Auto Show, on the 1st of April. The announcement has been made by the company recently as this will be getting smoked headlights and taillights, gloss black accents on the hood, fog lamp bezels and fender vents, a Santorini Black roof, a new rear spoiler, 21-inch satin grey alloy wheels and several other tweaks.

“Land Rover will present the new 2016 Range Rover Sport HST Limited Edition at the 2015 New York International Auto Show. The HST enhances the high performance Range Rover Sport driving experience thanks to its upgraded 380hp 3.0-liter supercharged V6 engine, unique chassis settings and bespoke design features”, said the carmaker in its official press release.

The new Range Rover Sport HST is using a 3.0 liter V6 supercharged engine under its hood which is offering more than 340 HP, 380 HP to be more precise. The Dynamic handling mode for the Terrain Response system will also be offered on the model, along with more aggressive drivetrain settings in the sportier mode, firmer adaptive dampers and sharper steering. Land Rover says that the new Range Rover Sport HST will be a limited edition model but this hasn’t been priced at this time. More details on it will be announced next week, in New York.
