Range Rover Sport RS spied on the Ring image

Our spy photographers have managed to capture the brand new Range Rover Sport RS on camera, once again, this time with a test mule being driven fast on the Nurburgring.

The Range Rover Sport RS is being placed into the spotlight once again, this time with the help of some more spy photos, which are showing the model in action, on the famous German track, the Nurburgring. The powerful SUV will become the new top of the line version of the 2014 Range Rover Sport and it will be developed alongside its smaller brother, the Evoque RS.

Land Rover has fitted this Range Rover Sport RS prototype with bigger air intakes at the front which is a fist indicative of a sportier model. Chances are the powerful SUV will be riding on an aluminum chassis and will be getting a better braking system and improved suspension once it will become available to its future customers. As far as the engine goes, rumors are saying that this might come from Jaguar’s new XFR-S, XKR-S or XJS, but we’re not excluding the 5-liter supercharged V8, with 510 HP. The current supercharged version of the Range Rover Sport can sprint from 0 – 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds and so the RS will drop below the 5-second mark. More details on the model are limited for the moment.
