The range topping Range Rover SVR is getting ready to be introduced in Australia, where it will arrive in May, as a rival for the Mercedes ML63 AMG, Porsche Cayenne Turbo S or BMW X6 M, amongst others.
The Range Rover Sport SVR will become available for order soon in Australia, as the company has recently announced. The model in question is being produced by Land Rover and it is the fastest and most powerful version up to date, bringing features such as the Active Roll Control, the recalibrated differential and torque vectoring, electric steering which has been upgraded compared to other versions and several other tweaks.
Besides the technical modifications, the Range Rover Sport SVR can easily stand out from a crowd, thanks to its updated exterior design too, which is now brining a new front grille, larger air intakes, flared wheel arches and some 21-inch wheels, amongst others, with 22-inch ones available as an option. The model has also received gloss black diffuser, new rear bumper, four tailpipe exhaust system, large rear spoiler, muscular side skirts and so on.
Under its hood, the 5.0 liter V8 supercharged engine can be found, with 550 HP (410 kW) and 680 Nm (502 lb-ft) of torque, which is allowing the model to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) from a standstill in 4.6 seconds and to go all the way up to 261 km/h (162 mph). The model can lap the Ring in 8 minutes and 14 seconds and it costs 218,500 AUD.
