The first official details of the brand new Range Rover Sport SVR have been released ahead of the model’s official debut which will take place at the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
After being spied and teased several times over the past few months, the brand new Range Rover Sport SVR, previously known as the “RS”, is ending up in our news once again, this time with the help of some new details, which have been released by the British based company. The model in question has a more aggressive front fascia compared to the standard one, with a larger bumper with wide air intakes, a new rear diffuser and a quad exhaust pipe setup.
The Range Rover Sport SVR will be created by the JLR Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) and it will come with improved handling components, with a better anti-roll system, a stiffer suspension system and it will be powered by a 5.0 liter supercharged V8 engine, producing a total output of 550 HP. The unit will be mated to an 8-speed transmission, signed by ZF, which has been revised too. More details on the Range Rover Sport SVR will be announced during the British automotive event.
