And we have to admit that it won’t look half-bad, but we’re still a couple of years away from it.
There is no surprise anymore that Mercedes-Benz is currently working on a new generation of the E-Class as the model in question has been already spied, teased and leaked several times, in its first body style to hit the market, a four-door sedan. But talking about the range-topping E63 AMG S version is not safe at this point considering the fact that no one knows anything about it, at this point, except for probably a few bosses within the company, along with a bunch of engineers and designers.
The model pictured above represents a rendering of its top of the line variant, the E63 AMG S, which has been signed by RMDesign and it may offer us a first preview of the vehicle believed to be a couple of years away from its official unveil. Rumor has it that it will be making use of the same 4.0 liter V8 twin turbo engine, the same one used on the C63 AMG and also on the AMG GT sports car, which will be tweaked and able to produce 510 HP (375 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. Chances are this range-topping model will be offered in all-wheel drive, exclusively. The regular variant of the E-Class will be officially offered for sale sometimes in 2016. Additional details on the model are limited at this point.
