The first spy photos with the real version of the Jaguar F-Type Coupe have recently ended up on the web.
After some patent images with the C-X16 Concept had everyone thinking that it’s actually the F-Type Coupe, the model, which is currently in development, has been recently spied, and the one pictured below is really the hard top version of the new Jaguar sports car. The Jaguar F-Type Coupe looks almost identical to the C-X16 in the patent images, and we can suspect the British based automaker of trying to cover up a mistake, where the patent images in question were actually showing the F-Type Coupe and not the C-X16 Concept.
The new Jaguar F-Type Coupe will adopt a stylish roof, muscular fenders and a distinctive rear window. As for the engine lineup, the model will receive the same units as the drop top, which means that we will see the 3.0 liter V6, with its 340 HP (250 kW), the 3.0L V6 supercharged with 380 HP (279 kW) and the 5.0 liter V8 supercharged, producing 495 HP (364 kW) will still be found on the model, along with a possible new 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder, with 240 HP (177 kW) and 340 Nm (251 lb-ft).
