Recall roundup: 2012 Nissan Titan image

The North American division of Nissan has recently announced a recall for the 2012 Titan models because of a problem with improper labeling which might cause the overload of the vehicle.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, 918 vehicles of the 2012 Nissan Titan will be affected by this recall and owners of the truck will have to take a trip back to the dealers in order to get the problem with the improper labeling solved. The NHTSA is saying that owners might overload the vehicle because of the improper labeling and this might lead to a crash. The 2012 Nissan Titan vehicles which are affected by this recall have been manufactured between the 10th of June, 2011 and the 22nd of July, 2011.

Owners of the 2012 Nissan Titan which will have to take their vehicles back to the dealers because of the improper labeling will be announced by the automaker by the 14th of May and the operation is expected to be over quite fast. There is no official word on any crash or injury reports received because of this problem just yet.     So much for a minor oversight. That makes me think they might have mislabeled my used nissan pathfinder as well, that's why it's slow when loaded to an extent. On the other hand, maybe it just lacked the power to go.
