The German based automaker Porsche has recently announced a recall for the 2012 911 Carrera S sports car because of a problem with the fuel line.
Even if the new generation of the Porsche 911, or 991 as it is also being known, hasn’t been around for a long time, some bad publicity will definitely affect its sales this year, after the company has announced a recall for the Carrera S sports car. According to Porsche, 1,232 units of the 2012 Carrera S will be affected by this recall and owners of the model will have to take a trip back to the dealers because of a problem with a fuel line, which might become disconnected, increasing the possibility of a fire.
The 1,232 units of the 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S which have been affected by the recall have been manufactured from the 26th October, 2011, to the 24th of January, 2012. The recall will begin in April and owners of the above mentioned model will be contacted by Porsche. The vehicles will be inspected and fixed, if necessary, free of charge.
