The North American based automaker Ford has recently announced another recall for the 2013 Fusion because of a problem with the headlights.
After we were writing just last week about a recall for the 1.6 liter EcoBoost equipped 2013 Ford Fusion, the new generation of the popular model is the subject to yet another recall, this time because of a problem with its headlights. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the models have a problem which can cause the low-be headlight to dim over time. The projectors may not produce as much light as originally intended after being exposed to heat.
A total of 19,000 units of the 2013 Ford Fusion will be affected by this recall and owners of the model will have to take a trip back to the dealers. Owners of the affected models will be notified by mail on the 10th of December. The repairs will be conducted free of charge. The 2013 Ford Fusion vehicles to be affected by this recall have been produced between the 3rd of February and the 20th of October, 2012. Owners can contact Ford at 1-866-436-7332 or the NHTSA’s hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
