The new generation of the Ford Mustang is the subject of a new recall which has been recently announced due to a potential fuel line leak.
The 2015 Ford Mustang is one successful ride as the model is selling faster than expected over-seas. But that doesn’t mean that everything is good because the company had to announce the second recall for the new generation of the muscle car. According to the North American based automaker, the 2015 Ford Mustang is the subject of a new recall. This has been recently announced because of a potential fuel line leak and owners of these models will have to take a trip back to the dealers in order to get the problem solved.
The good part is that only a small number of units have been affected by the first recall, due to the issue with the seat belt buckles, 53 to be exact, and now the number has increased with the new recall announced to 728 units. The affected cars have been equipped with the mid-range 2.3 liter four-cylinder turbocharged EcoBoost engine and they have been put together between the 25th of September, 2014, and the 9th of October, 2014. The fuel pressure sensor in the affected vehicles may have been installed incorrectly and it can lead to a pressurized fuel leak which could cause a fire. The company isn’t aware of any accidents or injuries related to this particular problem.
