General Motors has recently announced a recall for the Chevrolet models in Romania because of a problem with the braking pedal.
According to the 6, 314 vehicles with the Chevrolet badge on them will be affected by this recall and their owners will have to take a trip back to the dealers. Chevrolet has detected that some vehicles might have a problem with the braking pedal and, in some case, which apparently are limited, the braking performance can be affected because of a valve inside the ABS module.
Chevrolet is saying that owners of the models produced between 2008 – 2012 Aveo / Kalos, 2006 – 2012 Captiva, 2007 – 2009 Epica / Tosca, 2006 – 2007 Laceti / Nubira / Optra and 2006 – 2008 Matiz / Spark will be affected by this recall. However, not all vehicles produced between these years will have to be scheduled for a trip to the dealers and, in order to make sure that your model isn’t included in this list, you can check it here.
The North American based automaker says that no accidents or injuries have been reported because of this problem and dealerships have been informed by this recall.
