Chrysler Group has recently announced a recall for several Dodge Charger full size sedans because of some problems with their headlights.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, a total of approximately 49,400 units of the Dodge Charger full size sedans will be affected by this recall and their owners will have to take a trip back to the dealers in order to get the problem with the headlamps fixed. The vehicles in question will have their headlight assemblies inspected and replaced as the ones fitted with halogen headlamps have potential issues which may lead to overheating.
About 43,450 units of the affected Dodge Chargers have been sold in the United States, while 2,850 units made their way to Canada, 375 to Mexico and 2,700 outside North America. The necessary replacements or repairs will be made free of charge but customers are advised to contact Chrysler Group and schedule service at 1-800-853-1403.
