Recall roundup: FCA vehicles for two separate problems image

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has issued two separate recalls for its models because of some issues.

According to the car manufacturer, the first recall is affecting the 2014 to 2015 RAM 4500 and 5500 chassis cab, which have been equipped with the 6.4 liter Hemi V8 engine. The recall has been announced in order to have the speed limiter recalibrated. FCA says that the electronically limited top speed may be 106 mph but tires can’t maintain that speed and dealers will recalibrate the speed limiter to just 87 mph. This recall includes the models sold in the United States and in Canada and for any extra details on the topic, owners should contact the FCA US Customer Information Center at 1 800 853 1403.

The second recall announced by FCA US LLC is affecting certain model-year 2015 Dodge Challengers. According to the company, there are a total of 72 estimated vehicles in the United States and this has been announced because the vehicles may have loose or missing bolts. The inspections discovered that some cars produced during a 10-day period this year may suffer from this condition. The bolt has been designed to secure the side-curtain airbag and if it is improperly installed, it may not provide protection. The campaign is limited to the 2015 Dodge Challengers and for extra details on the subject, owners can contact the FCA US Customer Information Center at 1 800 853 1403.
