Hyundai has recently announced a recall for the Entourage minivan because of a problem with its suspension system.
A total of 15, 500 units of the Hyundai Entourage, from the 2007 and 2008 model years, will be affected by this recall and their owners will have to take a trip back to the dealers in order to get the problem with the suspension system fixed, free of charge.
“A fractured control arm can result in the loss of control of the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash”, as the NHTSA is saying in its consequence of the problem.
The affected Hyundai Entourage vehicles have been produced between the 16th of February, 2006, and the 30th of June 2008, and they have been sold or registered in Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Wisconsin, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, Ohio, Rhode Island, West Virginia and the District of Columbia.
Owners of these vehicles will be notified by this problem soon and the company’s dealers will inspect and make the necessary replacements free of charge.
