Lamborghini has recently announced a recall in the United Kingdom for the Gallardo model because of a problem with a brake disc.
According to the car manufacturer, a total of 143 Lamborghini Gallardo vehicles will be affected by this recall in the United Kingdom and their owners will have to take a trip back to the dealers because of a problem with a brake disc. The affected Lamborghini Gallardo models have been produced between January 2007 and May 2009 and in some of them, there is a possibility that the rear brake discs may come off. The problem only affects supercars equipped with the carbon ceramic brakes.
If the brake discs will come off, braking performance will be severely affected, increasing the risk of a crash and / or injury. Owners of the Gallardo Coupe and Gallardo Spyder, across the United Kingdom, will be notified by Lamborghini about the recall. There have not been any recorded incidents of Lamborghini Gallardos across the UK, related to this problem. If you own a Gallardo made between January 2007 and May 2009, you should contact your local Lamborghini dealership in order to find out more about this recall.
