The Japanese based automaker Mitsubishi has recently announced a recall for some Outlander Sport vehicles because of a problem with the panoramic roofs.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, a total of 3,181 units of the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport will be affected by this recall and their owners will have to take a trip back to the dealers because of a problem with the panoramic roofs. The NHTSA says that the issue has been discovered after a complaint from an Outlander owner in another country has been investigated and it seems that the panoramic roofs haven’t been installed in the proper way.
A total of 3,181 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport vehicles, produced between the 26th of August 2010 and the 29th of March 2011, will be affected by this recall. The company’s dealers will inspect the vehicles equipped with panoramic glass roofs and do the necessary adjustments / replacements free of charge. The recall is expected to begin soon.
