Opel / Vauxhall has issued a global recall for the 2014 Corsa and Adam models because of a problem with the steering.
Bad news for 2014 Opel Corsa and Adam owners as their vehicles are the subject to a global recall because of an issue with the steering. According to the car manufacturer, the affected vehicles should not be driven at all before the inspection takes place so taking them to the local dealership will probably mean renting a platform.
The company says that the recall has been announced after a steering system part was discovered to fall below the carmaker’s quality standards. The affected vehicles have been produced this year and they include no less than 8,000 units, worldwide. To avoid any risk, Opel / Vauxhall is recommending that the vehicles should not be driven before the inspection takes place.
Across the United Kingdom, there are a total of 3,000 affected Adam and Corsa cars. The recall should begin soon and repairs / replacements will be made free of charge to the owners. For any extra details on the subject, you should contact your local Opel / Vauxhall dealership but keep in mind not to drive them until the inspection will take place.
