The Chrysler Group has recently announced a recall which is affecting the Ram pickup trucks because of a problem with the passenger-side airbag inflators.
The North American based automaker Chrysler has recently announced a recall for the Ram pickup trucks, because of a problem with the passenger-side airbag inflators. According to the car manufacturer, there are 149,150 units of the model which will be affected by the recall. The Detroit giant hasn’t specified who is the supplier of these airbags, but considering the fact that Takata is responsible for most problems, chances are the company’s name will be related to these issues soon.
The Chrysler Group isn’t aware of any related injuries or crashes involving the defective airbags. The new recall is covering the 2003 model year Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 and owners of these models will have to take a trip back to the dealers soon in order to get the problem with the passenger-side airbag inflator fixed.
