The all-new Ford EcoSport managed to get 30, 000 bookings in India after just 17 days since it was launched.
As Ford was taken by surprise by this boost in bookings, it said it is doing its best to optimize deliveries and cut the waiting time. The EcoSport comes with three engine options and this versatile “power of choice” has attracted an increased number of customers.
“We had high expectations of the Ford EcoSport and the unabated response post the launch has been truly gratifying. Consumers are appreciating the value-for-money proposition that we are offering in the EcoSport’s compelling and smart package. We thank our customers for their overwhelming response and appreciate their patience,” said Joginder Singh, president and managing director, Ford India.
The vehicle was launched on June 26th, but dealerships in India already report record levels of daily bookings, not just for this model, but for other Ford nameplates as well. The base price starts at Rs. 5.59 lakh and the EcoSport comes in 10 variants across four trims, three engine options in petrol automatic and manual transmission options and seven color choices. The vehicle is also fitted with Ford SYNC® and Emergency Assistance.
