Mitsubishi has launched the redesigned Outlander in Japan recently where the model has went on sale for the equivalent of 30,271 USD for the entry-level version.
According to the Japanese based automaker, the redesigned Mitsubishi Outlander has made its debut on its local auto market in four trim levels and the model is getting features like the eAssist advanced safety technology on the 24G Navi package and 24G Safety package, along with the Lane Departure Prevention, the eAssist collision and much more, which will make driving safer.
Besides Japan, the redesigned Mitsubishi Outlander will also be launched in the United States too in its regular variant, while the Outlander Plug-in Hybrid will debut over-seas in late 2013 or early 2104. The EPA says that the 2013 Outlander in two-wheel drive equipped with the 2.4 liter four-cylinder engine and a six-speed automatic transmission will return 22 mpg in city and 28 mpg on the highway. Additional details on the model will be released close to its launch.
