The Malaysian division of Suzuki has recently announced that the refreshed SX4 has been launched locally, where the model has been priced at RM91, 888 on the road with insurance.
According to the Japanese based automaker, the refreshed Suzuki SX4 for Malaysia is getting a minor facelift which includes a new front grille with chrome effect, redesigned front bumper and 16-inch alloy wheels in five double spoke design, along with dark chrome finish on the center console in the cabin and new fabric for the seats and for the door cards.
Suzuki says that the refreshed SX4 is coming with a leather wrapped steering wheel, fog lamps, roof rails, 60:40 split folding rear seats, automatic retractable side mirrors with integrated indicators, CD/MP3 player with AUX-in and steering wheel mounted controls, eight speakers for the audio system and much more. In terms of safety, the model is adding ABS, EBD, BA (Brake Assist) and two front airbags.
The refreshed Suzuki SX4 doesn’t have any mechanical changes and the 1,205 kg vehicle is getting the same M16A engine which is producing a total output of 110 PS and 150 Nm of torque available at 3,800 rpm. The 1.6 liter VVT unit is mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. Five different colors are available for the model, along with a leather plus tinting Premier package, which will set you back for another RM5,000.
